Mishap on the MSWJR.  an atmospheric staff information film from BTF, filmed in 1958.

Wolverhampton Low level - unique scenes – including a very new sand liveried D1000 Western Enterprise.  Filmed late on, when the Black 5s and standards had almost replaced all the GWR designs

‘Gloucestershire Byways’ great video clip from Michael Clemens collection of the 1950s and 60s around Cheltenham. Scenes of the last days on the MSWJR. Very evocative.

Bristol Temple Meads Part 1:  interesting look at BTM in the 1960s

Last Days of Steam (Pt 4): archive views of Snow Hill and Oxford with Southern locos meeting GWR

Birmingham Snow Hill Scenes.  the first part of a wonderful 3 part video series commemorating this fabulous and much mourned station in the 1960s.  Shots of a rather forlorn ‘Clun Castle’ and some diesels including a new Western.  Part 2 and Part 3

Snow Hill to Shrewsbury – variety of scenes, some filmed more clearly than others on the GWR route to Birkenhead.

Banbury to Birmingham - good mixture of GWR and LMS stock in these scenes, starring several Tyseley based engines running into Snow Hill from the south via Hatton, Bordesley Junction. At this time Snow Hill came under the remit of  BR (M) and Black 5s are prominent.

Paddington to Banbury via Bicester. more great scenes on the GWR mainline to the midlands

Wolverhampton LL to Stourbridge – the GWR was not always about the beaches of Devon and Cornwall. These scenes taken in the Black Country show why most Midlanders couldnt wait to get away!
